Circa 1995, I began designing websites. I did a basic homepage and then spruced it up with tricks I was learning. Soon I was able to build a moderately complex site for my own burgeoning memoirs. This led me to build client sites (1996-2000) such as: MAP (Metropolitan Association for Philanthropy), Starr's Food Market, Millennium Engineering, and a former colleague's law practice. I stopped when I became mucho more interested in producing pure art sites, with zero thoughts of SEO, analytics, # of visitors, etc. I also worked on Scottrade, Inc.'s intranet site for a few months, and two other company web sites as employee (Magazines of America, United Readers Service).
